"Times change and we with time."
~Proverb, (German)~

cd mix.

so, of the six cd's lodged in my car cd player, one of my most favorite ones constantly replayed this week is the one steve just burned for me from a mixture of artists adored. below are images (and a few links) of these amazingly talented artists.

you picked me. absolute favorite song of the month right now: listen here (click)

thanks to chuck's blog, i found a new band to lOve. listen to their album(s) here: click me

alison monro sudol of a fine frenzy. vocalist, songwriter, pianist.

have you watched novel turned movie bridge to terabithia? the 2007 movie version? the teacher, played by zooey deschanel, is one of two who makes up the band she & him. love them!

zooey deschanel (vocals, piano, banjo) & matthew ward (guitar and producer)

miss spears. her songs + mashups have been so helpful for my classes and recitals!

good press, bad press, i don't really care. i lOve britney spears and her music!!
steve and i are lOving unusual you (which is pretty impressive since steve detests mostly all of britney spears' music.) then again, the song has a lot of new order, the band, influences. o_0 listen to unusual you here: click me.

nothing to say. they leave me speechless. :D

chuck introduced me to the script (thnx chuck!!) listen to one of their songs here: click.

the radio dept. the only reason why the marie antoinette movie (with kirsten dunst) is worth watching. asides from the period costumes, that is. listen to radio dept here: click.

never say never. thought i'd never like opera in my car (going to ballets in SF is different).

obsessed with marriage of figaro at the moment.

who, what, when? mariah carey vs. eminem o_0

weird extremes.

mariah carey. this music artist evolves with the times. she's collaborated with a wide range of music artists, from soft rock to rap. oh wait - she hasn't worked with the killers yet! can't wait til that happens, if it ever does? :D

...the whole eminem vs. mariah debacle has got to be the funniest thing ever! it's old, yeah. but still, it's funny as hell.

apparently these two artists aren't over it ;P

if you haven't guessed it yet, above image is of mariah carey posing as eminem in her music video for obsessed.

bwahhaaah!

^ never cared for him much. still don't. but i do like the song drop the world featuring eminem :D

^ he's got pretty cool msgs., though in some cases, not. but for the most part, yeah. he's pretty cool.

look closely at image. at first i thought it was a bunch of swarming bees. but duh, it's a bunch of Rx's fitting for the album. i know, i'm...a little off my rocker this week.

:D

and 50 cent. he's only cool because he's collaborated with eminem in "you don't know", amongst other songs that aren't really our favorites.

the end.

this is soo funny!!
