waterplay!

downtown san jose with chicktucky during their visit/vacation week with their favorite mentally aged nine ladychild ;P
(can you all tell i miss them terribly?!) hahaah!!

well, there's a lot to be missed when you pass up the san jose art museum, despite how boring it may have been the last time around (they change their exhibits often)..

but this is as far as we got during our little get together.. chicktucky (i'll tell the tale i found out later) to the san jose museum of art when my sis & cousins visited moi for the week. now i wish i had taken them INSIDE because i had such a blast the other day w/s :(
anyway..

chicken & kentucky at play in front of the fairmont hotel, steps away from san jose art museum.

another view of front..

right side of fairmont hotel.

it's great to picnic here sometimes. tons of benches to relax, beautiful trees and shade. sometimes people rollerblade, bike & jog throughout park.

what it looks like at night.

left hand side of the fairmont hotel is the san jose museum of art, steps away (see map below)

building below is attached to the san jose museum of art exhibit building (again, see map below).

map of the fairmont, san jose & sjmofa, in case you'd like to visit :D

Carmel Craving, The Sea Kind.

i'd love to live in carmel, california
i'm obsessed with this town!
and that is an understatement.
why carmel-by-the-sea?
the history, it's an artist's colony, the tranquility & privacy,
warm/quiet/friendly/neighborly people,
the white sand, pebble beach,
the CLEANLINESS of the beach!
the whimsical architecture:
it's the biggest "dog friendly town",
the mission is the most beautiful (to me) i'd ever seen in CA
need i say more? i can ;p
and i'd recently visited aptos, santa cruz, capitola and brighton state beach and
it's UGH in comparison to carmel-by-the-sea.

see? fantasyland-like right?

this home looks like mr. toad's wild ride inside of disneyland's fantasyland ;)
by the look of below picture, little would we know that just around the corner, one block away is *shopping heaven*, i.e., louis vuitton; tiffany & co.; j.crew; stationary stores; diggidy dog boutique.
also, it also reminds one of san luis obispo, CA
