(our favorite childhood book, tattered up and wish it could cheer us up, cheer her up..and help her recover sooner than later.)

my dearest cat,

you are my strength, my partner in crime

my other brain of dysfunctional thoughts;

you taught me your way of strength

to help hold my head up high

the only other one with courage in our family to speak out;

you are one of too few relatives which understands my thoughts

on every subject there is

keeping your dignity and believing in your profession

you kept moving on despite all pessimism.

you were there for me at my times of utmost despair

when there was nobody else in our family i felt i could trust

you were there.

please hear the story about ping with me ONE more time!!

although you've heard that story a trillion times..

it's one of our favorites, won't you hear it in your mind??

you grasp the thoughts our family just won't "get".

we need you here, i'd hate to regret.

we've broken the mold, partners in crime.

everything will get better, in due time.
