counting my own blessings.

so today i realized driving back from work how lucky i am. maybe the music playing in the background helped with overall mood i was in, and the fact that i didn't have to sit in traffic for once - but overall life is good.

1. i get to come home to two awesome puppy dogs that love me to death and are always so happy to see me no matter what bitchy, crappy, happy or grumpy mood i'm in or not.

2. i have a fabulous cousin for a roomie - even though her college freshman tendencies freak me out sometimes.

3. 3x per week, i have "phone appointments" with my little sister (who still lives in socal). but i love how we're close like that & i'm especially blessed that she's 9 going on 29!! she acts more mature than me at times.

4. my family & friends/coworkers still tell me i made the right decision and got a really great deal on my new (to me) car that i just bought. and i LOVE my new car!! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE. i find excuses to go out just so i can drive it. and i really did get lucky w/what i paid for what i got. it's worth being on a bag/vacation ban for a while.

5. my friends are all amazing, supportive, intelligent and just knowledgable, strong and fierce women. i'm lucky to know all of them, especially my TEApf friends: i've learned SO much from them. i love them all.

6. the few female cousins i'm close to, i'm blessed to have them as family and girlfriends.

7. i'm in love with my speedy 35. yes, that's kind of superficial..but yeah, love my bag!

8. grateful to still have a job - or job(s) right now.

9. umm...how i get lucky finding great finds in the sale section at anthropologie!!

10. friends, family & did i mention especially friends are super supportive about the very temporary lemon problem i have!
